SHS '93 Reunions

I just wanted to tell everyone that I had a great time getting back together with everyone. I figured I would have an OK time, but it was great!! The best part was that it wasn't high school anymore! Too bad more of us didn't get together more often in high school and have fun outside of classes!

It was so nice to see how everyone has grown up and see how people are so comfortable with who they are. I think all of us turned out pretty darn good considering the grim outlook many people have on society beginning with our generation!

Kwame Curtis, David Lovelady, Ozzie Jackson, William Cooper, and Zach Hench and I were on the verge of painting the chimney. But, then, if we would have gotten caught and got our names in the paper we didn't think anyone would ever believe it was us!!

God Bless Everyone in the SHS class of 93!!!

Gotta agree. I was impressed with how well we all cleaned up! "Thank you for a real good time!"

I agree as well. I had a great time at the reunion. It was nice to see everyone and catch up with what people are doing these days. The food was amazing was the atmosphere. I loved how we got the little patio area to sit back and relax in. By the way, is it just me or are there A LOT of smokers in our class?

Anyway David and I enjoyed ourselves, even though David did not know a single person there he seemed to have a good time. At least he has not complained too much about it.

I only have one minor comment/criticism to make. I think it was great of Mark O. Roberts III to provide the music but I was kind of under the impression that he was donating DJ services. Don't get me wrong, the music was fine, it just would have been nice to have been able to dance.

That being said I would like to extend a hearty congratulations to the committee to put this all together. Special thanks to Amy Bartolomucci, Beth McLean (Burgett), Josh Jacobson, April White (Powell) and anyone else who worked so hard on getting this reunion off the ground. I am proud of everyone in the class of 1993. It brings to mind the words of the SHS Alma Matter song (apologies in advance if I get the words wrong)

Thoughts of you old Springfield High
And memories of friends so dear
Cause reflections of the days gone by
That brought both laughter and tears.

And as years go passing by
Loyal Senators we'll always be
We'll be loyal to you, we'll be faithful and true
Here's to you old Springfield High

God willing I will see you all in ten years. Lets hope we don't have to add any more name to the rememberance table.
